The consultation fee is a flat rate, designed for your convenience and is not bound by time constraints. We strive to resolve all your queries within the initially scheduled meeting. Our consultations are booked in the calendar for up to one hour but often take less. Nevertheless, if your consultation extends beyond one hour due to the intricacy of the case, we may need to extend our conversation via a follow-up call or email.

You will receive a confirmation text or email. You should take time to organize and pull together important paperwork, so that you are prepared to answer any questions that the attorney may have about your case.
If you need to reschedule your consultation for any reason, you can use the link in the confirmation e-email to schedule or contact our office as soon as possible. There are many people who are waiting to have their cases consulted with our attorney and the sooner we hear from you, we can open the spot to other people who are urgently needed a consultation, especially if there are legal deadlines involved.
There is generally no refund for a consultation. Our attorney will answer all your questions based on his experience and expertise. You will have a better understanding of your options and what are possible next steps to take (or not to take) in your case. You may also receive an answer that there is nothing can be done in your case due to unavailability of visas or other reasons. However, knowing and confirming this can be an important step in your immigration case.
Your consultation fee includes any follow-up questions within 2 business days after your consultation, provided that the new questions relate to the same matter. For any new matters or subsequent legal advice, you will need to schedule another consultation. To remind you, your consultation fee, even if you have multiple consultations, is applied as a credit towards (deducted from) future legal fees if you retain our firm for handling the matter about which you received your consultation.
You will be given a secure link through our case management system CLIO where you can choose a date and time available, process online payment and book your consultation. The calendar is based on first come, first serve basis and our attorney’s availability.
Generally, each person must book a separate consultation. We make exceptions in some circumstances if the two cases are very similar or closely related. If you would like to verify, please contact our office.
We cannot review and approve the forms that you prepared on your own. We are also not allowed to help you self-represent yourself. Ethical obligations do not allow attorneys to assist non-attorneys in preparing legal documents. If you decide to hire our firm to represent your case, you must consent to the attorney’s representation in your case and sign a fee agreement.
