Attorney J. Andrew Baxter is a litigator and general practitioner, with experience representing and counseling clients in a wide range of legal areas. Mr. Baxter’s diverse practice is optimized to provide clients with a “full-service” experience, where clients and their families are able to develop a relationship with one attorney who can assist with all of their personal injury, small business, family law, criminal, bankruptcy and probate issues. Mr. Baxter will help clients receive cash settlements when they are injured in auto accidents, worksite accidents, and on the premises of a business. Mr. Baxter also provides litigation services for business debt collection, consumer debt defense, and business and construction contract disputes. When necessary, Mr. Baxter can represent clients in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, both in filing bankruptcy petitions and in protecting the rights of creditors.
Mr. Baxter is experienced in counseling and representing clients contemplating divorce, and will negotiate and defend Property Settlement Agreements, Child Custody Agreements, and Child Support and Alimony claims. Clients can also benefit from Mr. Baxter’s experience practicing in the Criminal courts and Juvenile/Domestic Relations courts of Virginia, when they are facing felony, misdemeanor, serious traffic, and domestic violence charges.
As an Immigration and Naturalization practitioner, Mr. Baxter understands and addresses the specific needs and unique circumstances of non-citizen clients when they require legal assistance in business, family law, and criminal issues. In law school, Mr. Baxter specialized in International and Comparative law, and worked in FCSL’s Immigrant Rights Clinic helping clients in Asylum and Refugee petitions, Family Immigration petitions, Naturalization cases, and International Adoption cases. Mr. Baxter also studied International Trade, International Business Organizations, International Humanitarian Law, and Foreign Law, as a scholar at the Haifa Law Institute in Haifa, Israel.
Mr. Baxter is a native of Northern Virginia, and is deeply invested in the community where he now raises his family. Over the years, Mr. Baxter has served as a volunteer attorney for the Fairfax Bar Association’s “Wills on Wheels” program, the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Attorney Jerry L. Williams, III is the co-founder and principal of Patel & Williams, PLLC. He represents the interests of those applying for social security disability, supplemental security income and long-term disability benefits. Mr. Williams also represents clients in personal injury matters and family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, protective orders and guardianship cases.
Mr. Williams comes from a family of lawyers, including his father and grandfather. Attorney Devanshi P. Patel is the co-founder and principal of Patel & Williams, PLLC.
